Feb. 24, 2010 Kylie and Kalin Turned TWELVE!!

So today we had a "Girls Day Out"
We left Curtis and Brett to do whatever it is they do.....

We went to lunch and SHOPPING...
After a new outfit (or two) we decided to go and meet the boys at the park

Cadie was so EXCITED!!

Now being in the "Mommy Shoes" I am honored at the trust my Aunt Roxanne put(s) in me and Kristin intrusting her daughters to us. The twins have been such a HUGE part of my life. I look at them more as sisters then I do cousins! They are turning into such beautiful women, and I don't know when that started happening. I have video of the four of us (Kristin, the girls and myself) dancing in my Mom's front room to Micky's Clubhouse... and while I don't imagine we will be doing that again I do enjoy the new things I see them do. Today I learned... Pockets on the bottom of a shirt looks "Dorky".. Hmm I think I might wear that next time just to embarrass them...

I absolutely love our Pugs, and so do our children. They have been wonderful kid pets. Poor Eddie takes quite a beating from Cadie some days, but yet he always comes back for more!

Where did 3 years Go?!?!

This week I picked up Curtis' enrollment papers for PRESCHOOL!!

When did this happen?!?!

Anyone who has sent a child off to school understands my fears, worries,
and excitement all wrapped into one single feeling. Curtis has been
one of the Best Blessings in my life. I love being his Mother, and as I paste
on a smile and tell him how much fun school is going to be, I know this is
just one of the many times Mommy will have to not allow my fears hold him back...
He has Greatness Inside that Little Body ;)

Family Time!

When Brett and I decided I would return to school and finish my degree to become

a VI I had no clue what that would entail....

Homework is very different this time around! For the most part my babies

are wonderful! I try to save homework until they are asleep, but

with the mass amount of papers I have had to write lately that isn't always

possible. So to make up for homework I try and make sure I reward them afterwards

with something FUN!
