About Me

My photo
Goddard, KS, United States
I am one of the fortunate few who married my very bestfriend! Brett and I started dating when I was a sophmore in highschool, and have been together ever since! So I don't know life without Brett in it, and I wouldn't want to. He has given me so many wonderful things over our 14 years together. However the most precious are our children. I am making this blog for them. One day hopefully they will be able to get some of the joy back they have given to me by reading this!

LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH!

Kindergarten!

WOW.. this happened so fast!

I seriously do not know when he got so big. I am so proud of the sweet little man that he is. My paras at work have commented on several occasions how obvious it is how much I love him, and I do!

I have to be to work b y 6:50 every morning. I get my kids off the bus at 7:20 - St. Marks starts at 8:20. I was really wanting to walk Curt in on his first day of school. It worked out beautifully that both my SLP and OT are in my room on Thursdays. I asked my principal if it would be a possibility for  me to leave work for half an hour to run to St. Marks and come right back. He told me that work was a rubber ball, if I drop it it will bounce. My family is glass and I drop them they will break. He then told me to go and walk my son in on his first day of kindergarten, and to tell the principal there he said hello (guess they are friends). I have been blessed to work in a great building. I am so glad that I did not miss out on his mile-stone in his life. After finding his seat he have me a hug/kiss and told me, "Ok Mom you can go. I am fine now." Smile This sentence put a lump in my throat, but I smiled and told him how proud I was of him, reminded him to have a great day, and I left. I did sit in the car and remind myself through tearful eyes that he was going to be fine! And he was!!
