Cadies first sleep over.... Well kind of! Kylie, Kalin and Cadie decided to take advantage of their last days of summer and have a nap. Kylie on the first couch, Kalin in the recliner and Cadie on the small couch! And I had the fun job of keeping Curtis quiet! 
We have quickly found that everything is done different when you have children! Things don't get done nearly as fast but they are so much more fun! (if you just choose to make it that way :))
Very few people know this embarrassing secret I have.... But maybe if I admit it, it will get better! (NOT LIKELY but maybe) I have even talked to Brett about possible seeking medical help for this because it is seriously that bad!!! I am deathly afraid of anything that jumps. As in frogs, grasshoppers, katydids, if it jumps I don't like it. (Yes Angie I cringe every time I see your kids playing with frogs) I have tried to get over this and not pass it onto Curtis and Cadie.. Curtis is not a problem I can shamefully admit that I locked Curtis on the front porch one evening, for about 15 min until his Daddy got home, because he had one in his hand ;) Sad I know!! So this morning when Curtis found a Katydid on my wall, and Brett had already left for work I freaked.. We were throwing things at it trying to get it down so I could get rid of it. Finally after much dismay we just called Aunt Kelly! Thankfully she came right over captured him, with her hand ;( and set him free.. THANKFULLY!!! So I know this is a very silly phobia but a phobia non the less!! By the way Curtis was laughing the entire time.... He's such a boy!!
Curtis may not have a brother (yet) but if you were to ask him I think he would claim Lucas. We had a play date today with Lucas, Levi, and Aunt Kristin. They are so much fun to watch the older they get. When Lucas left Curt gave him a huge hug and says, "Lucas you know I Wuve you!" He may not know it yet but he 'wuves' Levi too!
