Actually it is their first Sleep-Together! Curtis has been asking if Cadie could sleep with him ever since we got him a bigger bed. I have been reluctant thinking he wanted her on the top bunk. When actually he was wanting her to sleep with him. We decided to let them try it, and look at them..
Yesterday, Curt was helping Cadie buckle her seatbelt. He looked over and me and says, “I’m so glad I have a baby sister!” – I’m so glad I have them both!!
We had to graduations to attend this weekend! First..
Friday afternoon Kelly and Ben graduated from Wichita State University! 
Then Sunday Trey graduated from Andale High School (Go Indians)
We were also able to watch Molly graduate..
Congratulations Graduates.. makes me even that much more eager for December!!
Today (Sunday) my Dad turned 50! Last month we decided to plan him a surprise birthday party. We had it Saturday evening, due to graduation Sunday.
We actually pulled it off! He was expecting to come over for a cook-out with us, but really had no idea that everyone else would be there. THANK YOU so very much to everyone who came to help us make this birthday so memberable. We are so blesed!

Okay super corny title, I admit, however this was way way way out of my realm of comfort. Brett and I will be going to children’s camp this year as counselors. I am super excited. I know that this must be what God wants me to do, because it just feels right. I will be leave Curt and Cadie a very long time, getting dirty, and living with FROGS!!
Okay for anyone who might not know, I am TERRIFIED OF FROGS! My uncles used to throw them at Kelly and I and somehow I was the one who was emotionally scared =) While I do feel that somehow the Lord will “blind” me from the frogs at camp I should try to prepare myself somewhat. Also after spotting one the other evening I made my children come in and they were not allowed to play outside any longer.. silly
So I asked my friend Annette if she would help me “overcome” my fear of frogs. Little did I know we would be starting the next day (today)!! I trust this woman with my children surly I can trust her with a my frog-phobia!!
We went down to the barn today and she pointed out the frog which she was going to catch for me… 
This would be Jeremiah.. the largest frog I have ever seen! The largest frog that I ever want to see! (get it? Jeremiah was a bullfrog =))
This would be about the time that I bailed.. Although with some kind words from Annette I came back. I just stood there for awhile.. Then she talked me into touching him through the net.. when he jumped and I again retreated for the trees =) We talked for awhile, she told me how beautiful he was. I admitted that I did not find him beautiful, but didn’t want to be afraid of it any longer.
Somehow I let her talk me into holding it through the next?!?! I appreciated her time and didn’t want her to feel as though I came down for nothing.. soo…
Almost left the latter picture out because of my facial expression, however it does say it all!!
Next time we are going for much smaller and without a net!
Actually a visit from THREE! Our neighbors who I often talk about who have the horses also have beautiful swans! Annette had told us that three of their eggs hatched three days ago! So on their way home from the vet’s office they stopped by to show us!
Cadence loves anything “baby” I was very surprised that Curt did not want to hold one, but Cadie couldn’t get enough of them!
I love our home, but would never leave because of the wonderful neighbors we have. Curtis and Cadie have adopted them as “family” – Very thankful for them!
My Mother’s Day was very nice!
