Water Balloons from Dollar Tree = Hours of Fun

Lucas and Curtis decided to nail their Daddy’s with a water balloon.. While Levi and Cadie stayed far far away!

Once the Daddy’s got involved things got really wet

This is how the water fight started...

and it went on...

and on... and on!

Afterwards we decided to start a fire and makes s’mores!

After a few s’mores, some pop (water and milk), and a little trampoline jumping we were all spent and called it a night! Love my family very much, we have tons of fun!

I can not believe that my 2 and a half year old is as long as her toddler bed! My children have always been in the 98th percentile for length, so it shouldn’t surprise me! She is turning into a such a beautiful young lady.

Cadie has been sleeping with Curtis lately, so that she doesn’t end up in ours bed! When she sleeps in her bed she is awake and down in our bed by 2. This doesn’t really bother me, but her daddy is not a fan of kids in our bed..So.. when we heard Kristin and Brett where getting the boys a new bed we were excited take their hand-me-down!

I have a confession.. I just took Cadie’s passy away this week!! This week she traded her passy for a big girl bed, and a princess comforter.She has been a champ. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday she only got it for bedtime. We are now on day 3 with NO PASSY, and today she didn’t even ask for it!

I’m a sucker for a sleeping-baby!!

The Amazing Race!

Brett and I were able to part of Children’s Camp this year at Timberlakes (Williamsburg, KS)! We went as counselors and to help with recreation. Overall I would say our first year at camp, was a success. We were honored to be associated with Pastor Ronnie and Aunt Angie! *people love them*

These are a few of the youth counselors that we worked with. Brett and I were blessed beyond measure by these young people, and I can’t say enough nice things about them all!!

This was Wednesday, Wet and Wild Day! This was everyone’s favorite day, including me!

I always enjoy listening to Reverend Secor preach!! This was no exception!

We really enjoyed our week, and look forward to returning next year if needed. However, I will admit that I underestimated the emotional distress of leaving my babies for a week. With that in mind, God is so very good and my week was fun, productive, and went by quickly (even though there were tears from missing them). I have been praying for awhile that I would be tough with in frog country, and God provided =)

more summer

Tuesday Morning we went on a play date with some other Mommy-Friends!

I have many people to whom I refer to as “friend” however I cherish those friendships who share the same parenting styles as Brett and I. I have been super blessed with many Godly women who are not only super friends, but wonderful mothers!

Since the sprinklers at the park were not working/turned on, we decided to go swimming at my Grandma Winsor’s house.
