About Me

Goddard, KS, United States
I am one of the fortunate few who married my very bestfriend! Brett and I started dating when I was a sophmore in highschool, and have been together ever since! So I don't know life without Brett in it, and I wouldn't want to. He has given me so many wonderful things over our 14 years together. However the most precious are our children. I am making this blog for them. One day hopefully they will be able to get some of the joy back they have given to me by reading this!

Candles might be more exciting then presents!

After baths Cadie and Curtis played Truck Driver!
My Dad would be so proud!

And this.... Well I just LOVE piggy-toes!

Curtis begged to take a picture of Brett and I.... Not the most
flattering picture I've ever had taken, but he got our faces! =)

A view from the Top!

"Mommy you hold me??".... "Mommy you hold me??"

If I wasn't positive before I know there is NO POSSIBLE way evolution is possible.. Or else Mommy's would have more then two arms!

Curtis' Day!

Brett and I couldn't have asked for better neighbors. Everyone in our little addition has truly been wonderful to us. However, Curtis has really taken to a couple around the corner. They drive back-and-forth, on their mule from their home to a small 'farm' around the other side of us. (I believe I have blogged about them before)
They have invited us down before however today was special for Curtis. He was able to stay after Mommy, Daddy, and Cadie left =) and we all know animals are HIS CUP OF TEA!
Swans!!
Curtis and 'baby' Lucky!

Curtis was allowed to touch everything!

Cadie even got in on the action!

Curt was able to go out with Annette and bring the horses in!
Looking in from the back!
Curtis talked our ears off over dinner! We were able to get something about making the horses look like a flower and a rainbow, climbing hay, ridding on tractors, and feeding the horses! Curtis is very much a trooper during the week being dropped off at Grandma Carols while we go to work and school, so it was nice that he got a day to do what he LOVES! Animals =)

After we ate with my Dad and Mom, Curtis went in to get wet wipes and of course he came out with..... a horse!!

FrenchBraids =)

I used to have to bribe Kelly to sit and let me do her hair!! Now I have my very own little
'baby doll'! I can still remember what Cadie was wearing the first time I was able to get a ponytail. (a my 1st St. Patricks Day onsie and it was a white and green bow) Then the excitement when I was able to get TWO PONYTAILS ~ PiggyTails~ (She was wearing a maroon outfit and of course I had maroon bows) Today was another way exciting day in Mommy Land! Caides first French Braid!
Very silly?? YES =) I just love being able to experience the joys of a girl! While Curtis fills a spot ONLY he could... Cadie does too!

Relaxing Saturday!

We needed a day like Today! It was very nice we didn't have anything we HAD to do or anywhere we HAD to go!

We started off with playing in the leaves... since it was beautiful outside =) Brett worked on his car while Curtis and I picked up our October decorations, and Cadie well she just hung' out!

After Brett and Curtis went to the church for a little while and Cadie and I went grocery shopping; Grandma and Papa came over so we could do a little Christmas shopping.

It was now of course time for baths! Which just happens to be one of our FAVORITE times of the day.

After a couple times of pass the baby.....

It was time for Jammies and 'Bible Time' ~ Tonight our story was about the cookoo bird, and how he is selfish and that makes God sad when we don't share our things. Curtis of course referenced how he and Cadie shared Baby Anne in the bath =)

And no night is complete in our house without Iggy...Okay I will admit he might be growing on me a little.... LITTLE... I still have not touched him and have no desire to. However, I can now be in the same room when he is out!

Look Close he is climbing up Curt's arm....See His head?!?!

Of course since it's the weekend we ended our evening with the great game Hungry Hungry Hippos! And Brett won! (like always)

My God is so BIG!!

Okay so yesterday I walked into Curt's room just seconds before he would have written on his wall.... With a black PERMANENT MARKER! After my small freak-out I asked him what he was doing?!?!?! His reply, "I'm writing My God is So BIG on my wall cause Cheri told it to me!"
So I decided to find a happy medium!! I cut out and laminated the words for his wall! I'll admit they are a little larger than I thought they'd be but he was VERY excited!
P.S. If he is going to write on his wall I LOVE that it is, MY GOD IS SO BIG!!

Happy Halloween!

We started about 4:30 to get ready!I loved putting make-up circles on Cadie :) (I think she liked getting make-up on too)

Our neighbors asked if we would stop by on our way out so....
Donna had a surprise for Curtis she got their bird out for him to hold! Since he is a pirate!!
