This year I was really looking forward to Spring Break. "I do pregnancy so easy" - yes these words came out of my mouth a million times! For those of you who do not do pregnancy easy, I am getting my fair dose this time! I don’t think that it is particularly Callie’s fault! I think that it is all of the extra demands I am putting on my very pregnant body! – Keeping a house with a husband, 5 year old and a 3 year old! First year teacher in structured learning MIDDLE SCHOOOL (autism) - first year managing SIX adult women (most of them are awesome!!!!) Spring Break day one: Cadie throws up all day - Spring Break day two: Mommy/Callie throw up all day (boo) - Spring Break day three: one of my paras text me that she hates to leave me short staffed but she is quitting and will not be back after spring break, she just happens to have our most challenging student the Monday after spring break!!
This could be the reason for the terrible case of hives I broke out in the first of the week!!!
The rest of the week *wonderful* Even though it was raining Aunt Kelly and I took the kids and went to the zoo (they never even noticed the rain).
How do you become the "coolest mom ever?" -Let them draw with chalk in the garage while it is pouring rain outside!!
We left Thursday morning (with Brett’s parents and sister) to go to Kansas City for the night. Brett’s parents had two free nights at Argosy Casino and gave us one of them!! Our first stop: THE T-REX CAFÉ (again)! This is a place my two children have yet to get tired of!
There is no pool, however the very large shower did make up for this!!
It was a nice little (last) get away before baby Callie comes in TWO MONTHS!! Yay- I am soo soo soo ready!! Now just to give her the time she needs to be ready!
