About Me

I am one of the fortunate few who married my very bestfriend! Brett and I started dating when I was a sophmore in highschool, and have been together ever since! So I don't know life without Brett in it, and I wouldn't want to. He has given me so many wonderful things over our 14 years together. However the most precious are our children. I am making this blog for them. One day hopefully they will be able to get some of the joy back they have given to me by reading this!

Why I do it?!?!

Had a VERY trying day at work today. Today alone I was bit, my hair was pulled, and it took myself and two others to hold a child in No-Spot. While talking about our days in my WSU class today I was asked by a fellow classmate, "Why do you do it?"
Humm..
My answer was simple and to the point... "Because they are someones babies, and someone loves them!" (Including myself)
So why do I do it? It's my pay-it-forward... I am treating these children as if they were MINE. And I have received this back ten-fold. I can confidently leave Curt (and Cadie) with several people I have formed a trust with! Too many to name: Grandma goes with out saying ;) Ms. Cheri, Ms. Pam and our wonderful neighbors down the street. All of these people look at and treat my children with so much love! The same love I have for my VERY SPECIAL KIDDOS!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Today would have been my Grandpa Coslett's 77 Birthday!
(Grandpa and Curtis in 2007)
It's hard to believe this is our third year to celebrate/remember
his birthday without him. However each year my heavy-heart has been lightened
even if just a little!
So today I choose to celebrate the life that I loved so dearly! For I truly
had that once-in-a-lifetime Grandpa. Well once-in-a-lifetime here, but
Thankfully our separation is not forever! See you someday Grandpa!!

Mommy and Cadie!

I can't believe that Cadence will be ONE on the 29th of this month! A year went by so quickly!

I love her More than I imagined possible! Every night when I put
her in bed I say prayers for her. And ,that I will raise her that she
always feels loved, and safe. I know there will be days in the future when I am not
her favorite person! As much as I am cherishing
these days I know if I am steadfast in training and teaching her one
day I just might be her Best Friend!

A view from the Top!

"Mommy you hold me??".... "Mommy you hold me??"

If I wasn't positive before I know there is NO POSSIBLE way evolution is possible.. Or else Mommy's would have more then two arms!

Curtis' Day!

Brett and I couldn't have asked for better neighbors. Everyone in our little addition has truly been wonderful to us. However, Curtis has really taken to a couple around the corner. They drive back-and-forth, on their mule from their home to a small 'farm' around the other side of us. (I believe I have blogged about them before)
They have invited us down before however today was special for Curtis. He was able to stay after Mommy, Daddy, and Cadie left =) and we all know animals are HIS CUP OF TEA!
Swans!!
Curtis and 'baby' Lucky!

Curtis was allowed to touch everything!

Cadie even got in on the action!

Curt was able to go out with Annette and bring the horses in!
Looking in from the back!
Curtis talked our ears off over dinner! We were able to get something about making the horses look like a flower and a rainbow, climbing hay, ridding on tractors, and feeding the horses! Curtis is very much a trooper during the week being dropped off at Grandma Carols while we go to work and school, so it was nice that he got a day to do what he LOVES! Animals =)

After we ate with my Dad and Mom, Curtis went in to get wet wipes and of course he came out with..... a horse!!

FrenchBraids =)

I used to have to bribe Kelly to sit and let me do her hair!! Now I have my very own little
'baby doll'! I can still remember what Cadie was wearing the first time I was able to get a ponytail. (a my 1st St. Patricks Day onsie and it was a white and green bow) Then the excitement when I was able to get TWO PONYTAILS ~ PiggyTails~ (She was wearing a maroon outfit and of course I had maroon bows) Today was another way exciting day in Mommy Land! Caides first French Braid!
Very silly?? YES =) I just love being able to experience the joys of a girl! While Curtis fills a spot ONLY he could... Cadie does too!
